Located in Camberwell, Victoria, our state-of-the-art facility provides a robust, reliable and secure environment to host your servers.

Our network room includes over 400 square metres of raised floor, sophisticated temperature and humidity control, an array of physical security features, state of the art smoke detection and fire suppression systems, motion sensors, closed circuit video monitoring and 24 × 7 secured access.

Redundant subsystems including multiple Internet connections, power on the premises and backup generator provides the highest levels of reliability.

Power

The facility is connected to its own mains power substation within the building. All power is filtered from transient surges and electrical line noise. In case of interruption to mains power, backup power is supplied by two separate 80KVA UPS units supported by a 350KW Turbo Charged V12 Generator with over 2500 litres of diesel on site, enabling the facility to seamlessly power through any extended interruption to main power.

Each rack is individually connected to the customer required AMP socket specification and circuit breaker, so power to your equipment will not be affected if another customer's equipment 'throws a breaker'.

Network

We use Cisco switches and routers for internal networking and Internet connections. Each 'head end' rack is connected to a core switch via a redundant gigabit for resiliency.

Bandwidth

Our Internet connectivity is provided through the high speed local backbones and international links of multiple suppliers.

Our paths to the Internet are fully redundant. Our team of Network engineers in our NOC pay extremely close attention to bandwidth usage, ensuring capacity exceeds demand where we manage our infrastructure to support 100,000 customers 24/7.

Rack Space

Netspace provides 600mm, 800mm and 1000mm depth cabinets. Each cabinet is fitted with lockable front and rear doors for additional security and to keep cables neatly tucked away. Rack space is available in 5ru, quarter, half or full rack increments. We also provide independently lockable 20ru cabinets if required.

Cooling

The environment within the facility is constantly network monitored and air conditioned using 3 × Emerson 70KWA NX Series 27fw-100 under floor air conditioning systems, maintaining both temperature and humidity. The workload is shared across all 3 units. All units are automatically able to maintain outputs, and load balancing and notifications should emergencies arise.

Cabling

Data and electrical cables are run in separate trays within the raised floor space to prevent interference between data with power. Only Panduit Fibre Optic Cable Trays are used.

Fire Protection

We use state of the art VESDA smoke detection, installed in the ceiling and floor. VESDA 'sniffs' the air, using a laser to detect particles of smoke long before a human could detect it. In case of failure, a secondary smoke detection system is fitted throughout the facility.

Security

The building and network room within are independently secured. A closed circuit video system records all access to the facility. Lockable front and rear doors on each cabinet provides additional security for equipment and cables.

Customer access to their equipment is escorted and supervised by Netspace personnel at all times. A staging area outside of the main network room is available for customers requiring on-site access to equipment for extended periods.

Network Operations Centre

Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) is located within the building along side the Network Room, so engineers are close by should a problem arise.
