Dear Richard,

It is hard to work out from your vigorous campaign of disinformation whether you are uninformed, underemployed and therefore bored and fractious, or just plain malicious.

Can I suggest that you speak with your guild as to the position you want them to take as they do represent you in Award matters. You must not know that there is a process of consultation, that has been ongoing for many years now, aimed at getting the best voting system. The AFI only provides a chair for this process and no members on the committee. As you have shown such a passionate interest of late perhaps you might like to involve yourself in a face to face, democratic process.

I am sure the Awards Committee would be fascinated to know that the problems they have struggled with for the past fifteen years could be solved in a stroke with your direction.
